Class vs Ass Winner vs Quitter KING vs Queen.
For those that don't know, I gave up on calling Manny Pacquaio by his government name. He is referred to around the Letsmakemoves Castle as KING (as in Pound for Pound King, not of The Letsmakemoves Empire). This past saturday, KING gave his fans something that they haven't seen in 2 years, a fight that went the distance. Winning unanimously over Ghana's very defensive minded Joshua Clottey, KING ended up throwing over 800 more punches than his opposition, in the 12 rounds. To sum up the fight, I'll reiterate what HBO's ringside announcer Howard Letterman said going into the 5th round, "Clottey Is Fucking Scared !!! "
And now, we sit and wait to see which welterweight fighter, Pac-Man will be making kiss the canvas towards the end of the year, in the winner of Mosely vs Mayweather on May 1st. Like the whole world, I want to see KING be the reason there's the number 1 in Floyd Mayweather Jr's loss column. But Floyd must become worthy to stand in the same ring as KING. Meaning he has to beat ESPN's and Ring Magazine's #1 welterweight Sugar Shane Mosely (Floyd is coming in at # 3 in both). IF, and that's a big IF Mayweather wins by descision, (face it, Mosely has a good chin and Mayweather's punching power is at the same level as the guy who clocked McLovin ) we will be given the greatest fight this generation will ever see.
My beef (no chicken, see pic below) with Mayweather is that he quit and retired, when he was still an unproven "champion". He took his millions (which is now gone), 39-0 undefeated record, and made like the UK womens bobsledder outfit and split. Saying that there was nothing left for him to prove, that he's the greatest boxer to ever live. What do you say kids ??? All that,while there were still then undefeated Miguel Cotto, Antonio Margarito, and a younger Sugar Shane Mosely knocking on his door wanting a shot at Money Mayweather. But instead, he took the road of a coward in retiring to duck these fights, showing the exact opposite of the heart of a champion. More like a guy who's afraid to put his undefeated record on the line, but the same guy that will stand behind the same record, saying "my record, shows that I'm the best at what I do".
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the Pretty Boy. I enjoy Floyd and his family, when the cameras are on them and their characters are shown on display. Floyd is a very talented boxer and has great skill. But to demand that KING has to submit himself to Olympic Style Drug testing (random blood testing) back in december for a fight that was supposed to go down March 13th, shows just another cowardly characteristic of Floyd. When a simple Urine Test is just as accurate. I guess the Nevada State Boxing rules aren't good enough for Floyd when it comes to KING. The Mayweather Camp believes he's on steroids, because they refuse to believe that KING is greater than Floyd, and that it's impossible to win titles in 7 different weight classes, well guys. But any way, KING doesn't like when blood is being taken from him, because it makes him feel weaker. The last time that happened, he lost in a unanimous descision to Erik Morales, who KING later fought 2 more times and KO'd Morales in both. Mayweather knows this, and when he wanted Olympic Drug Testing, KING basically told "Pretty Boy" to go fuck yourself. You want the Kings Crown ? You play under the Kings Rules, Junior.
After the fight saturday night, I saw something that I've never seen before. Floyd was getting called out by EVERYONE. Including King, his trainer Freddie Roach, and Boxing Analysts saying if the situation brings itslef to King vs Mayweather, that Floyd needs to quit playing with his baby nutts and to grow a set. That just shows the lack of respect that the boxing world has for "Heart of A Boy, Floyd."
But once this fight does go down, that is if Floyd keeps his Bitch Out Card in his wallet this time. At the end of the bout, I guarentee we will be saying that Manny Pacquiao is the greatest boxer that our eyes will ever have seen.
